The Nova Scotia Construction Labour Relations Association says it’s reached a tentative agreement with the Cape Breton Island Building & Construction Trades Council whose members have been on strike.
The agreement includes a 17.95% wage increase over four years for all affiliated unionized building trades workers in the industrial and commercial construction sector.
The deal provides a 7% increase in year one.
Union members still have to vote on the tentative agreement.
The workers walked of the job two weeks ago, yesterday.
