Tender Call Today To Fix Highway 125 Ruts

The province is issuing a tender call today to repair deep ruts on sections of Highway 125.

The ruts are believed to have caused a vehicle to hydroplane in a crash that killed a man near the Balls Creek section of the highway, earlier this month.

The Department of Transportation’s Gerard Jessome says six sections of the highway will be repaired throughout the fall.

He adds the tender call closes in two weeks and the work will begin after that.

He goes on to say about 6 kilometers of the 125 will be repaved.
