Ten new COVID cases in Nova Scotia today, four in CBRM

Nova Scotia is reporting ten new cases of COVID-19 today, including four in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

Of the four cases, three are close contacts of previously reported cases, and one is under investigation.

Today’s count includes a case identified yesterday at the Breton Education Centre in New Waterford.

Two people in the municipality have recovered, bringing the number of known, active cases here to 41.

Province-wide, five people have recovered, bringing the number of active cases in Nova Scotia to 145.

Ten people province-wide are in hospital with COVID-19, six in intensive care.
