Teens Arrested, Knife Seized After Mayflower Mall Incident

Cape Breton Regional Police say they arrested two teenagers and seized a knife after a tussle between the girls and security at the Mayflower Mall, yesterday.

Police say they got a call from mall security about a female shoplifter resisting arrest.

 They add they got a second call that the guard was struggling with two females and that one may have a knife.

They say no one was injured and a knife was recovered.

A 13-teen and 15-year-old were arrested near the mall.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
