by Regional Police say two girls face charges after a reported assault on Welton Street in Sydney.
Police say they got a call at about 4:30 Monday afternoon from a driver who says they saw two people pushing around a third person near the intersection of Welton and Maple Streets.
They say shortly afterwards a man reported he was the victim of an assault in that location.
Police say they arrested two girls last night.
The 14- and 15-year old’s are scheduled to appear in Sydney Provincial Court on November 6th.
They’re both charged with Assault.
The 14-year-old is also charged with Assault with a Weapon and the 15-year-old is also charged with Mischief.
