Teen Facing Weapons Charges After Property Damage In Sydney

Regional Police say an 18-year-old is facing weapons charges after an investigation into damage to properties on Brown Street in Sydney.

They say officers originally responded to people in the area who reported damage they believed to be caused by bullets between October 24th and 29th.

They say an investigation led them to another person on the street who was arrested on Friday and they add a search turned up a rifle and ammunition.

Nathan Joshua King-Colson is charged with Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Careless Use of a Firearm, as well as Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, and a Breach of previous Court-ordered release conditions.
