Tall Ship Makes Unexpected CB Stop

A tall ship is making an unexpected stop in Cape Breton.

The Lord Nelson is specially designed for people with all types of disabilities.

It docked in Louisbourg yesterday to wait out tropical storm Bertha.

Capt. Barbara Campbell says they were headed for St-Pierre-Miquelon when they diverted due to bad weather.

The Lord Nelson is based in Southampton, England and is the flagship for the Jubilee Sailing Trust, which promotes the integration of people of all physical abilities on the ship.

It’s expected to be docked in Louisbourg until tomorrow when it sails for Halifax.
