Sydney woman back in court next month on murder charge

A Sydney woman facing a murder charge after a man was found dead in a Sydney apartment in November will be back in court in March.

33-year-old Jessica Anne MacDonald faces a first-degree murder charge after 41-year-old Stephen Richard Rose was found dead inside a Rotary Park apartment November 5.

37-year-old Joey Frederick Evong of Sydney is also facing a first-degree murder charge.  He’s due to have a preliminary hearing July 20-21. He continues to be on remand.

MacDonald is also on remand, and is due in court March 12 to receive a date for a preliminary hearing.
