Sydney Restaurant, Flights To Halifax Among Latest Exposure Advisories

Public Health says there was a chance of exposure to COVID-19 at a restaurant in Sydney last week.

The exposure would’ve happened at the Celtic Junction Bar and Grille at Casino Nova Scotia on George Street on Tuesday night between 7:00 and 9:30.

Meanwhile, health officials are also warning of possible exposures on three recent flights to Halifax.

Westjet Flight 392 from Edmonton landed in Halifax just after 6 in the morning on August 30th.

The advisory applies to passengers in rows 1-7, seats C, D, E and F.

Westjet Flight 228 from Calgary landed in Halifax shortly after 7:00 on Wednesday morning and Public Health’s advisory covers passengers in rows 20-26, seats A, B, C and D.

Air Canada flight 8636 from Ottawa landed in Halifax shortly after 8:00 Friday night and the advisory applies to passengers in rows 7-13, seats A, C and D.

Anyone on those flights at those times is asked to quarantine and book a COVID-19 test if they’re not fully vaccinated.
