Sydney One Of Five Locations For JUNO Host Committee Contest

Sydney is one of five locations hosting a contest sponsored by the 2024 Halifax JUNO Host Committee.

The committee is launching what it calls a Wavemakers Tour to discover the next generation of East Coast performers.

Artists who want to be part of the Wavemakers Tour in their region can apply online through a link on the Music Nova Scotia website.

Four hopefuls in each city will perform live in front of fans, industry leaders and a jury panel and the winner will perform at the upcoming JUNOS in Halifax in March.

The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM on September 14^th and the Wavemakers Tour event in Sydney is taking place on November 23^rd.
