Sydney Man To Stand Trial on Child Porn Charges

A Sydney man facing child pornography charges has waived his right to a preliminary hearing and will now go to trial.

25 year-old Jeffrey Alexander MacFadgen is one of three Cape Breton men arrested in a national child porn sting in June of last year.

He’s charged with possession of child pornography and making child porn available.

The offences are said to have occurred in March of 2014.

MacFadgen is due back in court on December 7th to set a trial date.
