Sydney Man Dead After Groves Point Beach Incident

An 84-year old Sydney man is dead after an incident at Groves Point beach near North Sydney yesterday evening.

Regional Police say they got a call to the beach at around 6:00 about an unresponsive man.

They go on to say the man encountered some difficulty while swimming and had to be pulled ashore by two other men who were swimming nearby.

The man was taken to the Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
