Sydney Man Charged with Robbery, Assault

Regional Police say a Sydney man has been charged after a robbery at the Sobey’s Fuels gas station on Prince Street in Sydney early yesterday morning.

20-year-old Tre Damian Timmons has been charged with robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, dangerous use of a weapon, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.

Police say the incident took place at around 6:45 am yesterday morning.

Police go on to say a large knife and a cash register were found close to the scene.

Timmons is on remand at the Corrections Centre and will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on Tuesday, February 21.
