Sydney Man Arrested On Drug Charges

A 54 year-old Sydney man is facing drug charges after Regional Police stopped a vehicle on Keltic Drive last night.

Police say they got a call at about 8:00 from a taxi passenger who said they were being followed by a car after the driver and the taxi passengers got in an argument in a Sydney River parking lot.

Police say they stopped the driver near Seaview Drive and found drugs and money.

The man has been charged with Possession of Cocaine and has been ticketed for Illegally Transporting Cannabis in a Vehicle.

He was released and will appear in court at a later date.
