Sydney Man Arrested After Shooting Saturday Morning

Regional Police say a Sydney man charged in connection to a shooting in Sydney yesterday morning was arrested late last night.

37-year-old Aaron Curtis Mickey from MacDonald Crescent in Sydney is charged with two counts of attempted murder using a firearm, four counts of aggravated assault, break and enter with intent, careless use of a firearm and two other charges.

Police say Mickey was arrested at around 11:30 last night when they went to a call in Whitney Pier.

Police add a 31-year-old Sydney woman has also been arrested and charged with the same offences and taken into custody.

Police say shots were fired into a home on Upper Prince Street in Sydney  before 6:00 Saturday morning but there were no injuries.
