Long term care workers at a nursing home in Sydney have voted to go on strike.
The workers from the Celtic Court Nursing Home are represented by CUPE Local 4965.
The union says members voted 93% in favour of a strike last week.
Wages are the main sticking point in the dispute.
The local is part of a coordinated bargaining campaign involving long-term care homes across the province.
Other long-term care workers represented by CUPE have also recently voted to strike, including workers in Yarmouth and workers in a number of homes in the Halifax area.
CUPE says further coordinated bargaining dates have been set for Monday and Tuesday of next week.
