by The Nova Scotia College of Physicians and Surgeons has sanctioned Sydney gynecologist Doctor Manivasan Moodley for professional misconduct.
The college hearing committee says they found Moodley made comments and asked questions of a personal or sexual manner, which had no medical relevance to the patients’ cases.
Two female patients lodged complaints accusing Moodley of incompetence and making inappropriate comments during appointments one week apart in 2017.
A hearing to determine what shape sanctions will take has yet to be scheduled.
