The Sydney Curling Club is getting 10 million dollars from the federal government for a new facility.
Cape Breton Liberal MP’s Jaime Battiste and Mike Kelloway made the announcement this morning.
The new Curling Club will be built on land the Club bought in Open Hearth Park.
It will replace the current Sydney Curling Club on George Street and will feature six curling sheets, expanding the Club’s capacity by 50%.
