Sydney Company Getting Federal Loan

Sydney company Protocase is a getting a $1.3 million loan from the federal government to build a new facility.

The company says the new building will house its growing data-storage division, 45Drives.

It says the building will allow it to expand its manufacturing capacities and add about 50 new jobs within the first year.

Protocase now has 240 full-time workers.

Sydney-Victoria MP Jaime Battiste announced the ACOA loan this morning.
