Sydney Call Centre Makes Donation to Hospital Foundation

The Sydney Call Centre has donated $50,000 to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation.

The cheque was presented today, with $25,000 going to the Cancer Care Fund and the other $25,000 to a pediatrics fund.

Both funds go to families and patients with unexpected medical expenses to help with things like expensive prescriptions and equipment, travel costs, or covering a light or heating bill.

Half of the money donated was raised by staff at the call centre.

The sum was matched by the centre’s founder and CEO, Anthony Marlowe.
