Suspicious Death Victim Identified Through Her Obituary

A 22 year-old Waycobah woman whose death police say is suspicious has been identified through her obituary.

RCMP say the body of Cassidy Jean Bernard was discovered in a home on the First Nation next to Whycocomagh on October 24^th.

Police say two infants also found in the home were unharmed and are now being cared for by family members.

Sources have identified the infants as Bernard’s six-month-old twins.

RCMP have not said how Bernard died but they do say her death was not a random act.
