Suspicious Death Investigation Continues After Teen Found on Highway in Leitches Creek

Regional Police continue to investigate what they describe as the suspicious death of a teen found on Highway 223 in Leitches Creek early yesterday morning.

An autopsy was due to be carried out yesterday afternoon.

Police say they got called about the discovery shortly after 3:30.

They say the boy was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say they believe there was a high school graduation party farther up the road from where the teen was found.

However, they also say they don’t believe he was a graduate because of his age that has not been released.
