Survey Open To Name Local Trail

People are being asked to help name a new 13-kilometre trail along the former rail line from the Gardiner Highway to Dominion Street in Glace Bay.

The Regional Municipality says proposed names all reflect the coal mining history of the area.

The survey will be open at surveymonkey.com until November 13th.

The municipality says the trail will be open to walkers, cyclists, horses and Off-Highway-Vehicles with proposed hours between 6:00 in the morning to 11:00 at night.

It says there are speed limits and quiet zones in residential areas.
