Strike By Canada Revenue Agency Workers Over

The strike by 35-thousand Canada Revenue Agency workers is over after their union reached a tentative deal with the federal government, overnight.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada is telling its members to return to work by 12:30 this afternoon at the latest.

PSAC says the tentative deal includes wage increases totalling 12.6 per cent over the life of the agreement from 2021 to 2024.

It says the deal also includes a one-time $2,500 lump sum payment.

Meanwhile, the Canada Revenue Agency says it and PSAC have also reached a tentative settlement on telework outside of the collective agreement.
