Strang Urging Flu Shots

Chief Medical Officer of health Dr. Robert Strang is urging people to get the flu vaccine in an update on respiratory illnesses in the province today.

Strang says it’s not too late to get the flu vaccine if you’re not already vaccinated.

He’s also encouraging people to get updated on their COVID-19 vaccines.

Strang says peak flu season is arriving earlier this year during the Christmas holidays.

He’s asking people to wear a mask when in crowded indoor spaces and stay away from social gatherings and events if they’re sick.
