The province is renewing its COVID-19 State of Emergency as it reports another 9 cases today.
All 9 are in the Central Zone.
1 new case was found at Bedford South School that’s being closed down until at least Thursday of next week.
The renewed State of Emergency takes effect on Sunday and runs until December 13th unless the government ends or extends it.
There’s now a total of 119 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.
No one in the province is in hospital with the virus and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says there are no cases in any long-term care homes.
Health Authority labs did 3,109 Nova Scotia tests yesterday.
1,142 tests were done yesterday at a rapid testing site in downtown Halifax where four people tested positive.
