by Souls Harbour Rescue Mission is opening a new location in Sydney Mines, today.
A grand opening is scheduled to take place at noon at the Main Street location.
Souls Harbour CEO Michelle Porter says they aim to be able to help people who are sleeping rough, living on or below the poverty line, or new to the country.
The group says a drop-in manager and cook have been hired, and there’s room for more volunteers.
