Some TUMS Tablets Being Recalled Because Of Possible Metal Fragments

Health Canada has announced a recall of two lots of TUMS antacid tablets because they could contain metal fragments.

TUMS Assorted Berries Extra Strength Tablets, sold in 750-milligram bottles and packages of three rolls containing eight tablets each are affected.

The products were sold by Canadian stores and online retailers between October of last year and January of this year.

The 750 mg bottles of 100 tablets were sold individually and at Costco as part of a club pack of four bottles with two different flavours.

People who think they may have the recalled Tums tablets are being told to stop using them.
