Some Player’s Brand Cigarettes Being Recalled

Health Canada is recalling more than 10 million packages of cigarettes sold across the country.

The recall involves Player’s, Player’s Smooth, and Player’s Original regular size cigarettes sold in packages of 20 and 25.

Health Canada says the cigarettes don’t meet performance standards under federal regulations and pose an increased fire hazard.

People will have to contact Imperial Tobacco Canada Limited to get a replacement product.

The full list of recalled cigarettes can be found on Health Canada’s website.
