Slippery Roads, This Morning

People are being reminded to drive for the conditions with roads reported to be slippery after last night’s snowfall.

The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board says school buses will travel on paved roads only, today.

In other travel notes, Marine Atlantic is warning tonight’s crossings could be affected by the weather.

Ferries just went back into service yesterday after being tied up since Thursday because of stormy weather.

There are now gale and freezing spray warnings in effect for the Cabot Strait with winds expected to build to 74 km/hr overnight, tonight.
