Six Comfort Centres Available In Regional Municipality, Today

The Regional Municipality is opening comfort centres again today for people still without power after post tropical storm Dorian.

The comfort centres are in six locations.

The centre at the Gabarus Fire Department opened at 10:00 this morning and is due to close at 6:00, this evening.

There will also be comfort centers at Centre 200, the fire departments in New Waterford, Glace Bay and Big Pond and the North Sydney Firemen’s Club.

All those centres will be open from noon until 5:00 this evening.

The length of time the comfort centres stay open will be reassessed before they’re set to close.
