Singer/Songwriter Jonathan MacInnis Pleads Guilty to Sexual Interference

Cape Breton singer/songwriter Jonathan MacInnis has pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual interference involving a person under the age of 16.

The 22 year-old from Northside East Bay was also facing counts of sexual assault and invitation to sexual touching.

However, those charges were withdrawn.

MacInnis committed the sexual interference crime between August and November.

He’s due to be sentenced on May 3rd and continues his release on conditions.
