Seven New COVID Cases In NS

The province is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19 today.

One of those cases is in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton and is a close contact of an earlier reported case.

Six of the new cases are in the Central Zone.

The province is also reporting eight more recoveries today and the total amount of confirmed active cases is now 44.

Those include 13 cases in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

Two people in the province are in hospital with COVID-19.

Neither person is in intensive care.
