Sentencing Hearing On Two Other Charges In Sydney Hitman Case

A sentencing hearing is due to get underway today for a Sydney man found not guilty of trying to hire someone to kill his ex-wife.

53 year-old Roderick Domoslai was acquitted on the charge in December.

However, he was found guilty of counselling to commit arson, as well as soliciting perjury at his trial that wrapped up in September.
During the trial, Domoslai denied hiring Crown witness Erin Maxwell to arrange for the killing of Dawn MacNeil.

He also testified he hates his ex-wife, but not enough to have her killed.

Domoslai has been released on conditions to await today’s sentencing hearing.
