Section of 125 Sydney Bypass Closed After Crash

RCMP say a section of the 125 Sydney Bypass outside of North Sydney is closed after a multi-vehicle accident, this morning.

They add the crash happened between the Seaview Drive and King Street Exits where a detour has now been set up.

They go on to say seven vehicles collided and another nine went off the road as a result of first crash.

Police say there were no serious injuries, although some people were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police are also asking people not to travel unless they have to until the weather clears.

Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation says Highway 104 is now closed between St. Peter’s and Port Hawkesbury because of white out conditions.
