Second Reading Delayed For Controversial Tow Truck Licensing Bylaw

Regional Council voted to delay second and final reading of a new tow truck licensing bylaw at this morning’s meeting.

The move will allow for changes to the bylaw after tow truck operators protested against it as it was written.

Regional Police Staff Sergeant Joe Farrell crafted the bylaw and presented it during first reading.

He told Council this morning the changes relate to fees charged but he didn’t go into detail.
