Search On For Missing Kayaker

RCMP say an extensive ground search has been under way for a missing kayaker in the Judique Interval area since 8:00 last night .

Police add the kayak belonging to 32 year-old Jason William MacGrath was found in the area at around 5:30, yesterday evening.

They go on to say MacGrath has not been seen since he left the Cape George area in Antigonish County at around noon on Sunday.

A helicopter was also involved in the search along with ground search and rescue crews from the Strait area and Pictou.
