Search For Kenley Matheson Turns Up Nothing

RCMP say a search team has come up empty-handed in their search for Kenley Matheson, near Wolfville.

Matheson from Glendale, Inverness County was a 20-year-old student at Acadia University when he was last seen walking on Main Street in Wolfville in September of 1992.

Last week, a team began searching for Matheson at a site on Melanson Mountain that was identified by a cadaver dog.

However, the Mounties say searchers found no human remains and no evidence to suggest human remains had been deposited at the site.

They say they’ve updated Matheson’s family about the outcome of the search.
