Screaming Eagles New General Manager And Assistant General Manager

The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have promoted Head Scout and Assistant General Manager Jacques Carriere to the post of General Manager.

He’s served in the former roles since 2013.

He first joined the Q-League in the 2004-05 season with Chicoutimi as a scout and has held various Head Scout and management positions.

And Cape Breton native John Hanna has been named the team’s Assistant General Manager.

Hanna has held a number of roles with the team, including scout, assistant coach, strength and conditioning coach and Board member.

The team says it’s still searching for a new head coach after it fired former General Manager and Head Coach Marc Andre Dumont, last month.
