by Students in the province are returning from an extended holiday break to online learning today.
The province announced last week schools will reopen to in-person learning a week from today.
It says the delay will allow time to address deficiencies to deal with COVID-19.
That includes installing ventilation units in 71 schools that need increased ventilation.
The province says it’s also working to make three-ply masks and rapid COVID-19 tests available for students when they return to school next week.
