Savoy Reopening This Month

Glace Bay’s Savoy Theatre is opening again after a pandemic shutdown.

The first event will be a CD release performance of singer/songwriter Jenn Sheppard’s “The Good Ground” on September 29^th.

The night will be hosted by Bette MacDonald and Maynard Morrison and tickets go on sale on Monday.

Then on October 21, the Savoy will present the musical Dear Rita, based on the life and music of Cape Breton icon Rita MacNeil.

Tickets for that show go on sale on September 16^th.
