Save Our Services Rally

Roughly 200 people are expected to attend a health care rally at the Health Park next to the Regional Hospital this afternoon.

Organizer Lisa Pond says the event is to raise concerns over emergency room closures, primary care and mental health services.

NDP leader Gary Burrill will speak at the rally.

Pond says both Premier Stephen McNeil and Health Minister Randy Delorey have been invited but haven’t responded.

The first Save Our Services rally took place in September outside the Northside hospital in North Sydney.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 1.
