Roof Replacement Getting Underway At Regional Hospital

The Regional Hospital in Sydney is getting a new roof.

The provincial Health Authority says work will begin this week to replace the hospital’s original roof that’s over 26 years old.

The work is expected to take about six months.

While the work is underway, people can still get into the building but they’re being asked to use caution and to follow any signs that are in place.

People are also being told to follow COVID-19 measures, including visitor restrictions, social distancing, wearing a non-medical mask and good hand hygiene.
