Roadwork In Front of Regional Hospital Again, Today

The provincial Department of Transportation says a repaving project is continuing today on George Street near the main entrance road to the Regional Hospital.

People travelling to the hospital through Sydney, or on the125 Sydney Bypass are being asked to consider using Churchill Drive through Membertou.

People with appointments at the hospital are also being asked to leave home early to avoid possible delays.

The work is due to continue until 7:00 tonight.

Outbound traffic on George Street will be detoured through Hillside Street and Rotary Drive, at times.
