Roadwork Due To Start Today At Busy Sydney Intersection

The Regional Municipality says initial roadwork is due to start today as part of traffic light installation at the intersection of Prince and Inglis Streets in Sydney.

It says the work is expected to last 2 weeks and traffic control measures will be in place.

An official announcement will be made before the traffic lights are activated.

There’s been one death and several vehicle pedestrian collisions in the crosswalk at the intersection and people have been lobbying for traffic lights.

About 20-thousand vehicles travel through the intersection each day.
