Ribfest Returning

Organizers of another Cape Breton event are hoping to have it return this year after a two-year break because of COVID-19.

The Rotary Clubs of CBRM are planning for this year’s Ribfest at Open Hearth Park from July 15-17.

The Clubs say plans are underway for the vendor village, beverage tent, family fun zone and 5-k race.

The entertainment lineup will be announced later.

This year’s charities for Ribfest continue to be the Regional Hospital Foundation’s Tom MacNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund and Caleb’s Courage.
