Regional police say they have charged two more people connected to outlaw motorcycle gangs

Regional police say two people from Ben Eoin are facing charges as part of their investigation into outlaw motorcycle gangs.

Police say they raided a property Friday on the East Bay Highway.

They say they found two guns, including one that was loaded.

Police say they also found ammunition, and clothing associated with the Black Pistons and Outlaws motorcycle clubs – including a full cut patch for membership in the Outlaws and several other badges.

Police say they arrested 53 James Robert Osmond Berthiaume and 50 Jennifer Lynn Chisholm.

They were released on a promise to appear in provincial court on November 30th.

Their release includes conditions that they not associate with any other members of the Outlaws or Black Pistons groups, or attend the groups’ clubhouses.

They face charges including: Unauthorized Possession of Firearms, Careless Use of Firearms and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

Regional police say they made arrests last month in Glace Bay and seized drugs, cash and clothing in connection with activities of the Black Pistons and Outlaws motorcycle gangs.
