Regional Police Respond To 342 COVID-19 Related Calls

Regional Police say they responded to 342 COVID-19 related calls between April 1st and June 15th.

They also say they issued 14 tickets for violations of public health orders during that time.

Police say two tickets were issued for failing to self-isolate, 9 for not social distancing and one for not wearing a mask.

Another ticket was issued for non-essential travel outside someone’s municipality and one person was ticketed for entering the province without authorization.
