Regional Police Officer Facing Another Criminal Charge

A suspended Regional Police constable facing a number of charges is now facing another criminal charge.

Regional Police say Wade Everett Lavin has been charged with Uttering a Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm.

They add the charge is in connection to an incident that happened last month.

He’s due in Sydney court on October 18th.

In February, Lavin pleaded not guilty to charges that include identity theft and fraud.

He’s due to stand trial on September 19th on counts of impersonating a Regional Police staff sergeant, forgery, and uttering a forged document, as well as attempting to utter a forged document and conveying a false message.

He’s accused of committing the offences in Sydney in July and August of last year.

Regional Police say Lavin was first suspended with pay in October and remains suspended, pending the outcome of the two court proceedings he now faces.
