Regional Police say they are investigating a suspicious death on the northside.
Police say they went to Brook Street in North Sydney at 4:00 this morning after getting a call about an assault.
They say a 60 year old man from the northside was receiving medical treatment when they arrived.
Police say the man died at the scene a short time later.
They are not releasing his name right now because they’re contacting his family.
Police say it’s an isolated incident.
They’re asking for anyone with information to call the police or Cape Breton Crime Stoppers.
